Sara Causey is a passionate writer and researcher, driven by an insatiable curiosity and a desire to uncover the truth. With a keen eye for nuance, Sara follows threads of meaning wherever they lead, diving deep into topics that matter.
Sara holds a master’s degree in English and two degrees in liberal arts. Her academic studies, combined with years of experience in the energy sector and HR consulting, have shaped her writing with insight and precision. Her career spans the boom-and-bust cycles of oil & gas, the dot-com crash, and seismic shifts like the Great Recession and the Great Resignation. These experiences have sharpened her ability to unravel complex systems and hidden narratives—insights she now channels into writing that seeks to inform, engage, and inspire understanding.
Although Sara built a successful HR consulting firm and navigated high-pressure environments like government contracting and Fortune 100 recruitment, her greatest joy lies in storytelling. Whether writing articles, books, poetry, or short stories, she harnesses the same tenacity to shine a light into dark corners and create works that resonate with others.
Sara is currently working on a book about the life and leadership of UN Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjöld, highlighting the human side of this extraordinary diplomat. With this project and others in the pipeline, she aims to inspire curiosity, ignite conversation, and spark connection through the written word.
